Together, they have brought in 26 Filipino care workers and nurses. This important move strengthens the centre’s care quality and serves as a creative, compassionate model for solving worldwide workforce issues.
This partnership, which started in October 2023 with 10 care workers and 3 nurses, has grown successfully. Lutheran Aged Care Albury has significantly improved its care for the elderly by expanding its team to include 26 Filipino care workers, of whom 8 are nurses, with the addition of 16 skilled staff.
Lutheran Aged Care Albury, already known for its welcoming international workforce, embraces the positive cultural aspects these new team members bring.
